The Prix collégien de musique contemporaine (PCMC) is a musical prize awarded each year to contemporary Quebec work « favorite » of Quebec students enrolled in music at Cégep or at the Conservatoire.
The call for nominations for the selection of the five finalists for the PCMC’s 12th anniversary edition is currently open. The composers who are members of the Canadian Music Center in Quebec – having paid their membership fees for 2019 – have until January 10, 2020 to send their files! This year, three prizes totaling $ 2,000 are up for grabs and the chance to have a video describing the work presented to students.
A unique encounter between the composers of today and the next generation of musicians!
